White Rabbit Oscillators on an FMC mezzanine¶
General¶
This project puts a set of White Rabit oscillators on an FMC card such that an FPGA on an evaluation board can be made White Rabbit timing aware.
Figure 1 is a picture of an assembled Rabbit FX PCB and Figure 2 shows a block diagram of the Rabbit FX.

The DMTD frequency can be chosen. Popular frequencies are 20 MHz or 25 MHz.
Choose a VCXOs with a 6 pin SMD 7x5mm ceramic footpint and a wide pull range, such as IQD Frequency CFPV-45 or Pericom FRETHE025.
